Agreed! Have you read Getting Things Done by David Allen? He talks about open vs. closed loops. An open loop being a project that our brain is trying to hold onto, a closed loop is one our brain is able to let go of, whether it’s accomplished or documented.

The mental organization aspect of a work journal has helped me a ton with that aspect of things and makes a world of difference! Couldn’t agree more with you, Calista.
